An autodialer, or automatic calling unit is an electronic device that can automatically dial predetermined telephone numbers, the units can call landline or mobile telephones. The device can call one or several different numbers at the same time.

On power failure the system automatically sends SMS (text messages) and or voice messages to several phone numbers, allowing call recipients to respond as necessary.
