Gaetano Sciolari brass chandelier with five translucent globes.
'Space Age' Made in Italy in the late 1960's or possibly the early 70's
This ceiling fitting has been rewired and tested by us to UK standards and is ready to hang. The brass work is blemished in places which is consistent with age but overall the fitting is in excellent condition, the glass is unblemished with no cracks or chips. A rare example in brass especially with the 5-globes. Most often seen today are the three and five-globe examples and finished in chrome. This chandelier is fitted with SBC ( small bayonet cap ) lamp holders.
This Sciolari Club chandelier has been rewired to the original ceiling rose in black 3-core braided flex. The chandelier original label is fixed inside the ceiling rose and is marked Sciolari Roma and has the serial number 13048.
